No matter the market, solids filtration is a challenge. Whether it is oil and gas, fracking market, refineries, food processing plants, or demineralization, every market that uses or produces water has a common interest of treating solids. Successfully treating solids in a way that achieves the customers goals AND performs the task in a way that is cost effective are the absolute challenges of every company.,,,,,,READ MORE
Flotation Technology has been an industry cornerstone in the oil and gas business for decades. Choosing the right vessel design and the proper bubble making technology is critical to the success of your application. By creating microfine gas bubbles and injecting them into a skillfully designed vessel, the time required to float suspended oil to the surface can be reduced to minutes. The HF-Sep is one of the most efficient designs on the market for maximizing efficiency and reducing lost production time.....READ MORE

Reverse osmosis (RO) is a water purification process that uses a partially permeable membrane to separate ions. In reverse osmosis, an applied pressure (ranging from 200 PSI to 1000 PSI) is used to overcome osmotic pressure. Reverse osmosis can remove many types of dissolved and suspended chemical species as well as biological ones (principally bacteria) from water, and is used in both industrial processes and the production of potable water.....READ MORE
PWS can provide custom build pressure sets or stock. They are "hazardous area" classified and range up to 60 GPM units....READ MORE
The capture of leaking vessels, leaking piping, rain water runoff, and general spills is often overlooked in the world of water treating. Usually volumes are so low that treating it becomes an after thought to the daily tasks of keeping our facilities running. Sumps come in multiple designs and are generally treated as a commodity technology until it causes problems and forces an interruption in your daily business. Don’t let such an insignificant piece of equipment cost you thousands of dollars a day in lost revenue. Let PWS be your partner by maintenancing this equipment every six months.....READ MORE
Skimmers have been an effective technology in the process of treating produced water for many years. Mostly used as a pre-treatment option, skimmers are effective in the reduction of oil and solids prior to reaching the flotation technology. As a general rule of thumb, skimmers are designed to remove upwards of 2000 ppm of oil at an efficiency rate of 85%. Skimmers are generally designed to ASME standards but can be designed for atmospheric conditions as well. There are multiple options that can be added to the Skimmer design to enhance efficiency.....READ MORE
Dissolved Air Flotation (DAF) is a water treatment process that clarifies wastewaters (or other waters) by the removal of suspended matter such as oil or solids. The removal is achieved by dissolving air in the water or wastewater under pressure and then releasing the air at atmospheric pressure in a flotation tank basin. The released air forms tiny bubbles which adhere to the suspended matter causing the suspended matter to float to the surface of the water where it may then be removed by a skimming device.
