HOLLOW FIBER MEMBRANES
Hollow Fiber Membranes are hundreds or thousands of Hydrophilic PVDF tubes all within one housing. Each tube is porous in nature and allows an outside to inside flow of water while trapping suspended solids on the outside. The tubes are capable of removing suspended solids down to .5 microns. The automated backwash cycle makes for a care free transition from forward flow to backwash cycle and back again. There are only a few minutes of interrupted flow every hour.
